Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Dar es Salaam, followed by a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or camp, where you’ll enjoy a welcome lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the park. Mikumi, often referred to as the "Serengeti of the south," is home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and lions. As you explore the park’s vast plains and woodlands, you’ll also spot various bird species and the park’s signature baobab trees. Return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of game viewing across Mikumi’s diverse landscapes. Your guide will take you through different habitats, from the Mkata River floodplains, where you can spot herds of elephants and hippos, to the open savannah that hosts lions and other predators.
